Board and Committee Members Wanted

  • Be a construction volunteer!         

                Habitat houses are built by volunteer labor. Share the skills you already have, or 
                learn new skills. Enjoy the physical labor and know you are helping a family in need.

  • Put your cooking skills to work!          

               Plan a meal and bring it to our volunteers working on a Habitat house! 


  • Plan a fundraiser with your group or organization!         

                Habitat homes are built by donations of money and supplies.


  • Provide office support!       

                Help us with newsletters, mailings, phone support

Common Good Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) engages individuals  age 55 and better in volunteer activities that meet community needs and enrich their lives.


Benefits include:

  • Transportation reimbursement
  • Ongoing support and recognition
  • Accident and liability insurance while volunteering


To qualify as a volunteer:

  • You must be 55 years of age or older and in good general health.
  • Be flexible and available with service activity schedule.
  • Have dependable transportation available and be willing to travel in the service area.
  • Have compassion, patience, flexibility and respect for others.
  • Work well with diverse individuals, families, groups and organizations.
